I know folks in Alaska and elsewhere have had some good ice for a few weeks now, but in New England, we rarely have solid ice by Thanksgiving day. However, Thanksgiving day, 2018, was a bit different and "ice feverish" skaters were out exploring a number of different areas--obviously equipped with poles for testing the ice, ice claws for self-extrication and lifelines for fellow skaters, but exploring nonetheless!!
Are you exploring? Are you geared up for this winter's ice?
