Now in stock in all sizes! Zandstra's new platform lets you mount slide-on NIS bindings (Xcelerator, Performance or Exercise models) quickly and easily at home without any tools. Plus you get the legendary quality of Zandstra's premium Rockwell 60 extra-hard, super-sharp steel for perfect traction on even the hardest, smoothest black ice. And the long curved tip gives you superior handling ability on soft, bumpy and snow-covered ice. Extra-hard steel means you can skate for up to 5 years without ever sharpening your blades.
Bare blades come factory-sharpened, but they do not include XC bindings. Instead, blades are pre-drilled and machined for both slide-on and screw-on XC bindings.
Compatible slide-on bindings include Exercise Skate, Performance Skate, Xcelerator 1.0, Xcelerator 2.0 , Xcelerator Pro and Xcelerator SSR.
If you do not want NIS slide-on bindings, you can purchase the Zandstra Hardware Kit and attach any screw-in bindings, including Rollerski Skate, Sport Skate, NNN-BC Manual, Salomon Prolink or Salomon BC Outside.

Zandstra NIS blades are available in the following sizes:
40 S (16") is ideal for skaters 5'3" and shorter with boot size 38 or smaller
43 M (17.5") is ideal for skaters 5'4" to 5'8" with boot size 39 to 42
45 L (19") is ideal for skaters 5'9" to 6'1" with boot size 43 to 46
48 XL (20.5") is ideal for skaters 6'2" and taller with boot size 47 or larger
Note: On rough, bumpy or soft ice, longer blades may perform better.
