Almgrens Vintage Nordic Skates

These blades were produced in Sweden in 2001 and 2002. They're brand new, factory-sharpened, never skated on. Length 50cm (19"). Predrilled for NNN-BC & Salomon Prolink bindings as well as Rottefella RMP Xcelerator mounting plates.
Harald Almgren pioneered the modern Swedish Nordic skate or långfärdsskridsko when he established his skate factory on the island of Blidö in the Baltic Sea north of Stockholm. The two holes at the front allow you to stick your skating pole through the blade and into the ice to hold the blade upright as you step onto it. At the time it was thought that automatic step-in bindings would become popular for Nordic skating, but they never did, so the holes were later eliminated.
