Lundhags Vintage Nordic Skates

Special acquisition! These vintage blades were produced in Sweden in 2003 and 2004. They're brand new, factory-sharpened, never skated on. 

Bare blades come factory-sharpened, but they do not include XC bindings. Instead, blades are pre-drilled for screw-on XC bindings. With the included mounting hardware kit, you can install any of the following bindings: Rottefella Rollerski Skate, Rottefella Sport Skate, Rottefella NNN-BC Manual, Salomon Prolink or Salomon BC Outside.

More history: Around the year 2000 the family-owned Lundhags boot company took over the Almgrens skate factory located on the Baltic Sea island of Blidö north of Stockholm. For a few years Lundhags continued producing skates with the Almgrens name on them. But in 2003 they began using the Lundhags name on all their products, including skates. Also in 2003, Jan-Anders Lundhag visited North America to promote Nordic skating in the US and Canada. We visited the Rideau Canal in Ottawa and enjoyed a big-lake wild ice adventure on Lake Champlain's Inland Sea.
