Measures up to 4" (10 cm) of ice thickness. First punch a hole in the ice with your ice pole. Then insert the gauge into the hole. The J-hook on the end hooks underneath the ice to give you a reliable thickness measurement. Gradations are in centimeters (1 cm = 0.4 inch). Made in Sweden.
