Zandstra Tango Nordic Skates bare

Now in stock in all sizes! The Tango comes in four lengths. It's compatible with Rottefella and Salomon skate and BC screw-in bindings. The reinforced aluminum deck makes it stiff yet lightweight, so skating is a breeze. As with all Nordic skates, the blade curves up at the front, helping you skate safely across bumps, cracks and snow-covered ice. Blades are made in the Netherlands from stainless tool steel with a hardness of 60 Rc, a thickness of 1.25 mm, and a radius of 35 meters.

Bare blades come factory-sharpened, but they do not include XC bindings. Instead, blades are pre-drilled for screw-on XC bindings. With the included mounting hardware kit, you can install any of the following bindings: Rottefella Rollerski Skate, Rottefella Sport Skate, Rottefella NNN-BC Manual, Salomon Prolink or Salomon BC Outside.

Yet another option, if you order size 48 XL blades, is to install a Rottefella RMP mounting plate that gives you access to NIS slide-on bindings that you can adjust forward and back on your skates at any time. More details coming soon!

Tango comes in the following sizes: 
40 S (16") is ideal for skaters 5'3" and shorter with boot size 38 or smaller
43 M (17.5") is ideal for skaters 5'4" to 5'8" with boot size 39 to 42
45 L (19") is ideal for skaters 5'9" to 6'1" with boot size 43 to 46
48 XL (20.5") is ideal for skaters 6'2" and taller with boot size 47 or larger
Note: On rough, bumpy or soft ice, longer blades may perform better.
